What can we do to help your team prepare prior to your arrival?

We never ask for much prep from you as our team can take care of it all . If you want to help us out you can start by removing drapes, curtains and pictures from walls. Once we arrive we’ll make sure to move all your furniture to the middle of the rooms to then protect them.

How soon can I hang pictures on the walls after the paint job is completed?

It is recommended that you wait two to four weeks for a proper amount of cure time.

What hours does the Retro Rollers’s crew work?

We normally work 8:30am - 5pm but that can vary depending on preferred arrival times. As for end times, projects may run over the time budget depending on project completion. This will be determined on-site and discussed with client throughout the project.

How is the project price determined?

At our first initial estimate we evaluate the scope of the job by estimating the materials and hours required to complete your project. We will then send you our quote and hours required to complete the job.

Does the client provide the paint?

We incorporate paint pickup for you within our preparation process prior to starting your project. Give us a heads-up if your colour choice changes before our start date. We are pretty flexible when it comes to confirming paint colours.

Does colour choice affect the price?

It can, depending on what colour we are trying to cover. We work alongside paint colour experts that give us insight as to what tints we can work within priming your walls for better coverage and minimising paint quantity.

How soon can you schedule my project once I decide I want you to complete it?

Generally, we are able to book within a week or two. Give us your timeline, and we'll try our best to accommodate our schedule with yours. If a time becomes available sooner we can discuss rearranging your project start date as well.

How long does it take for a typical paint job to be completed?

It all depends on what you’re looking to get done. Each project offers different details that we will take note of during our estimation process. Once a quote is completed, the email will include the estimated project completion time.

Do you offer colour consultations?

Yes, we do! We work alongside Kaitlyn. Colour consultations are free once we have been retained to paint your home. The only related cost may be the small cans of paint samples we apply to your walls.

How is your pricing compared to your competitors?

We are the top choice among our community when it comes to estimates. We may not be your lowest quote, but we account for every little detail your project entails and believe our team deserves recognition for their efforts. Our goal is to ensure we deliver the highest quality paint job and overall client relationship. We certainly stand out among our fellow competitors within Southwest Ontario.

How soon do we get a quote sent out after the estimate is complete?

We take pride in how efficient our team is in discussing and planning for your home renovation. We generally like to send estimates out the same day, but within 1-2 days, you’ll have a better idea of the overall cost.

The process typically involves preparation, priming, painting, and cleanup. We ensure that surfaces are properly prepped, and the paint is applied evenly for a professional finish.

Yes, we can provide a detailed cost estimate based on the a of the space, the type of paint, the number of coats needed, and any additional services required.

Consider factors like the room's purpose, lighting, existing decor, and your personal preferences. It's a good idea to test paint samples on a small area before making a final decision.

How do I know when it's time to repaint the interior of my property?

Signs that it's time to repaint include fading or peeling paint, visible stains or marks, or if you simply want to refresh the look of your space. Most interior spaces benefit from repainting every 5-10 years, depending on factors like usage and the quality of the previous paint job.

What is interior painting, and why is it important for my home or business?

Interior painting involves applying paint to the walls, ceilings, and other surfaces inside a building. It is important because it not only enhances the aesthetics of your space but also protects surfaces from wear and tear, moisture, and damage.

How will my personal property be protected while painting?

On interiors, after you have removed your delicate items, all areas or remaining items, will be covered with clean drop cloths or plastic sheeting. On exteriors, shrubs and surrounding areas will be protected so that no evidence of paint splatter or paint peelings remains.

Can I leave my home while the painting crew works?

It’s not a requirement for you to remain in the home while the team is painting. While we enjoy working with you and having you be a part of the experience. If you need to leave at any point let one of our crew members know and we'll make sure to discuss the protection procedures of your home.
